Warwick Races

Warwick enjoys a full racing calendar all year round with meetings taking place on weekdays and weekends, afternoons and evenings. Lying a few hundred yards from Warwick Castle, Warwick Racecourse retains its historic charm and character.

The course is slightly less than 1 and 3/4 miles round, it is essentially flat with some undulations over the jumps course. It has a reputation as a fair course that has seen many stars both on the flat and over jumps make their early career starts and with such a full racing calendar, it’s a Cotswold event not to be missed!

Stratford Races

Steeple chasing has taken place at Stratford-Upon-Avon Racecourse since 1755. Nowadays, they have fifteen meetings a year, most of which take place within the summer months. Equipped with a glass-fronted Grandstand (opened in 1997) and having won a major award for the care of the racetrack, Stratford-Upon-Avon Racecourse are proud to be in the top flight of Britain’s smaller courses.

A great characteristic of Stratford-Upon-Avon Racecourse has always been the friendly way in which it draws its race-goers into participation in the pleasures of racing, and the course enjoys a unique Club spirit – it was the first in the country to form a Racecourse Entertainments Committee.

For all these reasons and more, a trip to Stratford Races has become a popular Cotswold event, loved by locals and holidaymakers alike.
